I am soo blessed because I found out that there is another film festival going on. It started yesterday and I hope to attend at least 1 movie. You can check out the listing at www.amnesty.ca/filmfest/

I went on the website today to see what is showing this weekend.  I am having a hard time deciding which  movie to attend because they all look great!  What I like about film festivals is that they bring relevant subjects to the forfront.  I do not read the paper often and I do not believe in watching the news(always negative and can be misleading on important subjects).  I like to get my information from reliable, trustworthy sources and I have found that most documentaries fit that description. When I look at the film festival line up, even though I may not see a film, it notifies me of issues that are important and newsworthy. Sometimes seeing a film will impress me to research more into the subject matter so I can get even more educated on the issue.
