Could asbestos be the problem for the toxic drywall in USA homes?

I wrote that the Canadian government has spent millions of dollars to help promote the sale of asbestos to china. Maybe that asbestos has made its way into the drywall that is sold back to the USA?

J.J. Unruh, I was not able to determine your credentials from your website or by Googleing your name. I am wondering about your background, qualifications and motives. You make a bold and speculative comment about asbestos and drywall manufactured in China. None of the following U.S. government agencies have found evidence of asbestos in Chinese drywall based on their independent analytical testing: Consumer Product Safety Commission, Center for Disease Control, Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, Environmental Protection Agency. Do you have evidence that they were unable to uncover? Why did you make that statement?

Dear John,
I really would love to know what my qualifications have to do about reporting possible answers to questions that need to be solved. My motives are to help as many people get and stay healthy and make companies and governments accountable for their poor choices in a leadership role. I do not own any property, do not know anyone who has this terrrible problem, or have any stock that would help me financially with this issue.
May- be the US government is testing for the normal chemical composition of asbestos and not the varity that comes from Canada? It is a fact that Canadian companies with the promotion of the Canadian government is selling this to
China for them to make drywall. Do not forget that I wrote my article originally in October 2008, before this story about the toxic homes in the USA came out in August of 2009. It sounds from your comment that you are emotionally involved with this issues and if so I hope that you have a positive outcome.
